10 year plan

1) Cosmetology school to pay for college tuition
2) Work at my aunts salon for 2-3 years
3) Take time off of school and work, and travel for a year.
4) After that it will most likely take me 4-5+ years to graduate from college with my Art therapy major, and help change the aspect of art.

Bachelors degree

The bachelors degree will help in preparing me for career, and really help me in the near future. I'm quite confused with this question because it will obviously get me started by setting a title on my career, and teaching me how to accomplish my goal.

Career choice

Once reaching the my goals I would begin to search for a job in either hospitals, schools, or nursing homes. My goal as of now is to be able to read someones emotions through their art. I really love the idea of this, and I'm quite excited for the future.

4-5 year outline

I'm leaning more towards Art therapy tied in with Art education, to begin the process of making this a career M.Ed. (Master of Education, 48 credits) with a major in Art Education and Concentration in Art Therapy, this course is a preparation for art therapy, after this class I wouldn't be granted a degree in education, so that would be the next step. This is roughly a 2 year process for certification, preferably working with younger children while they're still in their innocent state.

College choice

Of the three choices I made before, I've simply changed my mind. I would like to attend a cosmetology school my senior year so I could have a job out of high school to help pay for my college tuition. Eventually after that I plan on attending Wayne state for either an Art therapy, Art education, or Masters of Art major.

Class selections for senior year

As of now I know I'm taking health, film lit, mythology, advanced math, and T.V productions. My plan is to try my hardest to get a co-op position and attend either the north beauty school program (if possible) or Regency beauty institute
